Sheep's Bit - Jasione montana (biennial)
Attractive spreading plant with delicate pale blue flowers; a particular favourite of Dark Green Fritillaries. Prefers neutral to acid soils and grows well amongst grass. Height up to 30cm. In flower from May to September.


Sweet Rocket (Dame's Violet) - Hesperis matronalis (perennial)
Attractive flower ranging in shade from near white to mauve. The flowers are fragrant especially during the evening. Height to 90cm and flowering from May till August. The developing seed pods are a food source for the larvae of the Orange Tip butterfly
